IDC Staff Instructor

Become a PADI Instructor Trainer

PADI IDC Staff Instructors help bring up the next generation of PADI Instructors by passing on their experience and knowledge to those just looking to step into professional level diving.

They are also part of the teaching team during Instructor Development Courses, working closely with PADI Course Directors and gaining in-depth instructor-trainer knowledge.

Many dive centre or resort management positions require this rating, but it’s also a great way to develop your own knowledge as an instructor and pass on what you have learned.

Once you have completed your IDC Staff Instructor course, you can start accumulating credit towards the Master Instructor rating – the one PADI rating not achieved through training.
