Get the most out of your holiday – PADI Open Water Referral

If you are interested in diving in warmer waters abroad only, consider completing a PADI Open Water Referral with us. This means going through theory and pool dives in Scotland and then completing the four open water dives on holiday.

Completing your course this way means avoiding days spent in the classroom and swimming pool when you could be diving in the sea already. We can complete the Open Water Referral over the course of a few weekends in advance of your holiday, following some initial self study.

For younger kids, the Open Water referral is a great way of moving on to diving in open water and becoming a certified PADI diver when they are still a little too small to dive in drysuits in Scottish waters. It allows them to move on to the next stage and build up their diving experience.
