Gozo (Malta) 2026
Next up we have another cheeky offering for March 2026, in a location of world renowned diving. A personal favourite of mine, the island of Gozo, mainly a Shore Diving location, this offers a beautiful selection of wrecks and picturesque natural architecture not to be missed. Boat dives can be booked through the local dive centre.
Flights are from Edinburgh once or twice weekly with Jet2 in March the price would be:
£1210 per person for 7 nights half board at San Andrea Hotel, based on a twin share room.
San Andrea Hotel, set on Xlendi’s main promenade, this small, five-storey hotel has 28 rooms overlooking the fishing village or bay and a terrace with picturesque views.
This friendly, family-run hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay on Gozo and it’s dive destinations. Comfortable and affordable it’s what dive holidays are all about.
The dive centre is just a 5-minute stroll away. Those wanting to hire a car, free parking is available around Xlendi Bay. When not diving, local buses run from Xlendi Bay to popular places of interest all over the tiny island of Gozo.
St Andrews Dive Centre, Gozo
Established 30 years ago in the small fishing village of Xlendi on Gozo, we are a stones throw from the sea, bars & restaurants. Our very own dive boat will often collect divers from the jetty opposite to transport them to all the great dive sites such as the famous blue hole or the many reefs & wrecks.
The hub of the operation & your initial contact is looked after by the friendly co-ordinators who can assist all your travel needs from airport transfers to reserving accommodation.
The dive center is equipped with top of the line equipment to either rent or purchase, a complete nitrox & tri-mix blending system plus a dedicated technical department equipped for sidemount, twinsets and rebreather diving.
Includes: flights, transfers, hotel and 10 dives, ATOL bonding & full financial protection

South Red Sea 2026
Here we have a different itinerary within the south red sea I have previously done this route in 2008 and it did not disapoint, as this is a less densely populated area of the red sea with no acces by day boats, this offers access to some of the more spectacular wild life. On this route in 2008 I saw Hammerheads, Tigers and Oceanic White Tips, I was also fortunate enough to see a Manta Ray at a cleaning station. This trip leaves a lot to the imagination and is a different take on the Red Sea trips of the north.
