Loch Long is our training and diving site which we use all year round. It’s about 2 hours drive from Edinburgh city centre. The views top side are stunning. Underwater visibility can vary but there is always lots of life to see. The Loch is a sea loch which was used as a testing ground for torpedoes during World War 2 and contains numerous wrecks, including what we call the “A-frames” which are large steel structures, covered with all sorts of anenomes. The town of Arrochar lies at the head of Loch Long which is a popular tourist destination in the summer, with plenty of accommodation available should one choose to stay over.
