ReActivate your PADI dive qualification!
If it’s been a while since you last dived, the PADI ReActivate course is a fantastic way of getting back into it all. This is a flexible course which allows us to put together the training you need to refresh your skills and build your confidence to get back in the water. On completion of the PADI ReActivate course you will receive a new, PADI certification card – to show that you have “re-activated” your current qualification.
Exactly what you will do depends on: your previous level of experience, whether you have dived in cold water before (and whether you would like to) and the length of time since you last dived, so please let us know these details when you email us to arrange your course.
Before you come for your dive we will sign you up for the PADI ReActivate online course for you to complete at your convenience. You will be able to review your knowledge of dive theory and select the skills you would like to practice with us. Depending on what you need, we will then complete a training session in the pool or at a sheltered shore dive site.
If you require a pool training session, one of our qualified Divemasters or Instructors will take you through all the basic dive skills in a swimming pool, demonstrating them and making sure you’re confident in the water. Alternately you may be able to complete PADI ReActivate at a sheltered shore dive site on the West Coast where you will be able to practice the skills you have selected.
If you have not dived in cold water before, but would like to AND require a refresher we can offer the PADI Drysuit Diver course and PADI ReActivate to be taken in parallel. We can complete a refresher session in the pool in combination with the orientation to the drysuit, before completing the open water dives.
For divers who are just wanting a quick skills practice, but do not require the PADI ReActivate course we are also able to offer a review and skills practice in the pool.
